The Flying Scot Fleet: Our new Flying Scot fleet has something for everyone. This boat is popular as both a family daysailer and a club racing boat. Our YCSH racers are looking for new crews and fleet members are always happy to assist prospective Scot sailors. The club-owned Flying Scot is available for YCSH members to use. Sunfish
Class: Sunfish
are sailed in Youth Sailing Classes, the Wednesday and Saturday
series, in all MAYRA regattas and in the Old Bags races. The
boats are easy to launch and rig and are sailed by both youth
and adult sailors. YCSH and MAYRA racing is divided by age
into Midget, Junior and Master fleets. Contact Fleet

Comet
Class: YCSH
is the home of Comet Fleet #1. Adults and teenagers race this
two-person boat at the club on weekends and at regional and
national events. Bruce
Nicholson (he can be reached at the club) is the Comet Fleet Captain.
Laser
Radial:
The Laser Class is a single-handed racing boat popular throughout
the world. It is an Olympic class. Club racing with the (smaller)
Radial Rig is done on Saturdays, certain Friday evenings in
July and August and at MARYA regattas. Call Gene
Mopsik at the club for information.
The
Optimist Dinghy: The
Opti is a youth training boat and the fastest growing youth
class in the world. Optimists are used in Sailing Classes,
all club races and all MAYRA races. If you have questions,
please call Janis Abraham at the club .
The
Cheetah Cat Fleet: Home
of the world's only known fleet of Cheetah Cats, YCSH proudly
hosts the Annual Intergalactic Regatta for this unique class.

The
420 Class: The
420 Class was new to YCSH in 2001 and represents a fast growing
double-handed racing class for our youth sailors. This class
is especially popular in collegiate and East Coast fleet sailing
and is growing very quickly. Contact Hugh Harr for further
